About Jorakay Muay Thai Academy
Jorakay Muay Thai Academy is the result of over two decades of discipline and a deep-rooted passion for Muay Thai. I began my journey 20 years ago, building a foundation through local competition and coaching. After earning a bachelor's degree in psychology—which I integrate into my coaching to help students manage the mental demands of training—I began traveling to Thailand in 2015. I moved to Bangkok in 2017 to train and fight under the legendary Master Toddy, going undefeated in my professional bouts and becoming a specialist in knees and clinch work. Today, I am a certified Kru Yai recognized by Thailand’s Ministry of Sports & Tourism. My experience includes coaching and cornered hundreds of fights, including at the historic Rajadamnern Stadium. In 2019, I launched Jorakay Muay Thai Academy to share this expertise through a government-accredited 10-step curriculum that bridges traditional Thai technique with modern development. After successfully running my program in Pennsylvania for seven years and producing three National Gold Medalists, I have relocated to Palmetto, Florida. I am excited to bring this proven system to the area, currently offering private training and online sessions as I work toward establishing a new home for the academy.

Fighting Experience
With over 20 years dedicated to the sport, my expertise is rooted in the authentic traditions of Thailand, where I lived and competed professionally. Throughout my professional fighting career in Bangkok, I went undefeated, securing every victory through clinical clinch work and knee strikes. Even today, I continue to test my skills and compete in the ring whenever I travel back to Thailand. I translate this ongoing high-level experience into the Jorakay Muay Thai style, teaching my students how to master the same pressure, leverage, and precision that defines my own success as a fighter.
Teaching Experience
I have spent the last 10 years refining my approach to instruction, developing a comprehensive 10-level curriculum designed to take students systematically from their first day to an advanced level. This program is officially accredited by the Muay Thai International Association (MTIA) and recognized by the Thailand government, ensuring that every student receives training that meets the highest international standards. By combining a decade of teaching experience with this structured, proven system, I provide my students with a clear and professional roadmap to mastering Muay Thai.
Cornering Experience
My competitive coaching experience spans over 100 fights, where I have cornered athletes across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA. This range of experience extends from local exhibitions and national tournaments to the world’s most prestigious stage, Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok. Whether preparing a student for their first smoker or guiding a seasoned fighter through a high-stakes professional bout, I bring the tactical insights and corner-work expertise necessary to perform at the highest levels of combat sports.

Master Toddy
Grand Master Toddy (Thohsaphon Sitiwatjana) is a world-renowned figure in Muay Thai with over 50 years of experience as a fighter, trainer, and promoter. Often referred to as the "Father of Muay Thai" in England, he is credited with introducing the sport to the UK in 1975 before later expanding his influence to the United States and globally.
Throughout his career, Master Toddy has trained over 50 world champions across Muay Thai and MMA. His list of notable students includes legends such as Ronnie Green, Maurice Smith, and Gina Carano, as well as UFC champions like Randy Couture and Tito Ortiz. He is also a recognizable figure in popular culture, having appeared in the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun and produced television shows like Fight Girls.
Muay Thai International Association
The Muay Thai International Association (MTIA) is a global organization dedicated to preserving the authentic art of Muay Thai through a standardized, professional system. Officially accredited by the Thailand Ministry of Education and Ministry of Sports and Tourism, the MTIA provides government-endorsed certifications that meet the highest national standards for technique and instruction. The association utilizes a level-based curriculum used by over 300 instructors worldwide to track student progress from beginner to advanced ranks. Every registered student receives an MTIA License Book, which serves as a permanent, globally recognized record of their training and fight history. To ensure authenticity, all certificates are personally signed by Grand Master Toddy and cataloged in the association’s central records in Bangkok, providing a clear and legitimate roadmap for practitioners to master the sport.
